Four Kalshi award books turned $2.46M in the last twenty-four hours, $2.17M of it on NFL MVP. Since this page was last written in September, two of the races have found a favorite and two are still open.

Heisman. Jeremiah Smith has gone from 6% to 47% and took $30,828, the most of the leaders. Darian Mensah and Keelon Russell are level at 11.5%, and CJ Carr is 8.5%.

NL Rookie of the Year. The September favorite is gone. Sal Stewart leads at 73.5% with Carson Benge at 25%; JJ Wetherholt, 52% a month ago, is 1.5%.

NFL MVP. No one is above 20%: Josh Allen 18.5%, Brock Purdy 16.5%, Patrick Mahomes 10.5%. The busiest of the leaders was Dak Prescott at 6.5%, $102,387.

NBA MVP. Victor Wembanyama is still the favorite at 31.5% and still barely trades, $264 of a $49,890 day.

One caution carries over. In September these ladders summed well above 100%, NBA MVP to 153%, so read a price on a long ladder as an upper bound.

The two deepest award books on the platform: the Heisman holds $24.1M of open interest and NFL MVP $25.6M. They traded $229,766 and $2,171,326 today.

Left, Keelon Russell at 11.5%, $17,021 today; right, Jeremiah Smith at 47%, $30,828. In September these were the two busiest legs on the board, at 3% and 6%. The volume came first and the prices followed: both have multiplied, and Smith is the favorite by thirty-five points.

Two quarterbacks from the bottom of the MVP book. Baker Mayfield is 1% and did not trade today, with 326,675 of open interest left. Tyler Shough is 1.5% on $19,597 and still holds 1,805,249 of open interest, more than any of the five leaders: Dak Prescott's position is 1,179,907 and Brock Purdy's 1,162,523.

Basketball and baseball. The NBA MVP book has Wembanyama at 31.5%, then Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 15.5% each and Nikola Jokić at 12.5%; Anthony Edwards at 7.5% took the most of the leaders, $6,419. The season has not started and the book trades accordingly.

The NL Rookie of the Year book is close to decided between two names: Sal Stewart 73.5%, Carson Benge 25%, on $5,701.

The NL Rookie book's top two, side by side: Sal Stewart 73.5%, $2,590 today; Carson Benge 25%, $2,171. Together they hold 98.5% of the board. They replace JJ Wetherholt and Nolan McLean in this slot, the September favorite and his chaser, now 1.5% and 1%.

  • Jeremiah Smith at 47%. The Heisman has a clear favorite for the first time on this page; Mensah and Russell at 11.5% are the field.
  • Sal Stewart against Carson Benge. 73.5% to 25%, on a book that settles by year end.
  • NFL MVP has no favorite. Allen 18.5% and Purdy 16.5%, with the day's money among the leaders on Prescott at 6.5%.
  • Tyler Shough's open interest. 1,805,249 on a 1.5% leg, the largest position among the names on this page.
  • NBA MVP before the season. Wembanyama at 31.5% on $264 is a quote, not a signal, until games are played.
  • Overrounds. These ladders summed well above 100% in September; a long ladder's price is an upper bound.
