Altcoin Markets 2026 — SOL, XRP and DOGE

Bitcoin and Ethereum have their own pages in this catalog. Everything below them—Solana, XRP, Dogecoin—turns roughly $50,000 a day across Polymarket and Kalshi and carries over $940,000 of open interest.

These are all cumulative ladders: each rung asks whether a price is reached, so every rung strictly contains the one above it. A ladder like that has one hard constraint—probabilities must fall monotonically as the strike rises. Every inversion on this page is a violation of that constraint, not a difference of opinion.

August's XRP book has settled, and it settled frozen. All forty of its rungs are quoted at exactly 50.0% with $371,279 of open interest behind them—the deepest position on this page, on a month that ended yesterday, marked at a coin flip from top to bottom.

Its September successor opened the same way. Every rung of the new book quotes 50.0% and the whole event has zero volume and zero open interest. The franchise rolled from a frozen settled board straight into an unpriced new one without ever passing through a live quote.

And Solana's flow is almost entirely in the far tail. Polymarket's 2026 ladder turned $25,632, and $21,943 of it—86%—went through rungs priced 4.7% or less: ↑600 at 2.1% took $6,293, ↑400 at 3.1% took $4,090, ↑280 at 4.2% took $4,237, ↑300 $3,788 and ↑320 $3,552. The rungs carrying the actual question—↑120 at 63.0% and ↓80 at 48.0%—took $521 and $57.

Solana: touch on one venue, close on the other.

Polymarket's 2026 touch ladder implies SOL near $95–100: ↓90 prices 67.0%, ↑120 63.0%, ↓80 48.0%. It turned $25,632—and 86% of that went through rungs priced under 5%, from ↑260 up to ↑600.

Kalshi's year-end close ladder holds $57,347 and turns $1,343, pricing 100 or above at 78.0% on $21,122 held and 150 or above at 21.0%. Touch and close are different questions, but the two books are broadly consistent.

The far tail is where the Solana money is. ↑600, priced 2.1%, took $6,293—the single busiest contract in the book—against $521 through ↑120 at 63.0% and $57 through ↓80 at 48.0%. Six rungs priced between 2.1% and 4.7% took $21,943 of the book's $25,632 day.

The August book is settled and every one of its forty rungs is quoted at exactly 50.0%, holding $371,279 against $716 of residual volume—519 to 1, the deepest position on this page sitting on a month that is over.

The September book opened at 50.0% across the board too, with zero volume and zero open interest. There is currently no live monthly XRP quote anywhere on Kalshi.

The year book still has a frozen rung at the bottom. Above $1.50 is marked at exactly 50.0% holding $5,143, under Above $2.00 at 43.5% ($13,674), Above $2.50 at 25.0% and Above $3.00 at 19.0%—which are live and properly ordered. The chain holds $55,633 and turns $1,949.

• Forty XRP rungs settled and all forty are still quoted at 50.0%, holding $371,279. The August monthly is over; nothing has been re-marked. This is the deepest instance of the frozen-midpoint defect on this page and one of several across the catalog today.
• The September XRP book opened at 50.0% on every rung with zero volume. The franchise went from a frozen settled board to an unpriced new one with no live quote in between. Watch whether a market maker shows up before the month is half over.
• 86% of Solana's day went through rungs priced under 5%. $21,943 into ↑260 through ↑600, against $578 into the two rungs that carry the actual question. If you want one number for what this catalog keeps finding, that ratio is it.
• Dogecoin's cheaper near rung outtrades its dearer far one two to one. Before Jan 1, 2027 at 3.5% took $13,043; Before Jun 1, 2027 at 8.5% took $7,110. The position is on the near leg too—$129,974 against $91,013.
• The year XRP chain still has a frozen 50.0% rung at $1.50. Everything above it is live and monotone. Exclude the frozen leg before reading an implied 2026 high off that chain.
